For the past three years, Pippa has used her expertise to negotiate the sale and purchase of architecturally significant properties throughout Montecito, Santa Barbara and Hope Ranch, including the $6.1 million sale of a George Washington Smith-designed carriage house in Montecito and the $7.5 million sale of a Hope Ranch contemporary hacienda designed by Wallace Neff.
Born in South Africa and fluent in Afrikaans, and having traveled extensively, Pippa has a heightened awareness of the diverse cultures of many countries and understands her international clients' needs when it comes to living outside of their native country. Through her own experience she has the empathy and skills to make their transition a smooth one.
Prior to real estate, Pippa was a sales executive with the Clinique division of the Estee Lauder Group in South Africa for more than five years. She began her retail career as a Johannesburg-based buyer for an upscale fashion specialty retailer with 150 stores throughout South Africa.
A member of the Montecito Country Club, Pippa enjoys spending her leisure time golfing with her husband and playing tennis.
Having raised three children in the area, Pippa is also well versed on the various features of the area's private and public schools, as well as the many recreational opportunities available for youth.
