Hidden within the hedgerows of Montecito lies “Jacaranda House”, an early Monterey Colonial, probably constructed in the 1910s. Since that time, there have only been three owners of this significant residence, each slightly modifying the house to fit their lifestyles. 

Hedges and English gardens surround this private one-and-one-quarter acre property. Quiet country lanes lead you to Montecito Union and private schools, the beach, and both Montecito Villages with international shopping and restaurants.
 
The main residence, with traditional center hallway and colonial staircase, includes three bedrooms and two-and-one-half baths. Surprisingly, there is also an authentic old English pub room.

The guesthouse, separated from the main house by gardens and hedges, boasts a large bedroom suite upstairs, while downstairs you find the living room, study, additional half-bath, and wet bar with bay window.

Additionally, there is a maid’s apartment consisting of living room, bedroom, and bath. There are a total of five garages on the property, three for the main house and two for the guesthouse.

The gardens overflow with sculpted oaks, lawns, bedding plants, formal hedges, rose gardens, and a gazebo with reflecting pond.
