3  Charming Cottages Plus an Estate Building Site (if desired) on 3.1 Acres

All of the cottages are sited to nestle into the landscape and are not imposing on the rolling lawn.  Each has its unique features and views.  Family or guests will find them all to be in serene settings.

Main 1 bedroom Cottage

In a beautiful heritage garden setting of roses, hydrangeas and ferns, the main cottage is reached by stepping from the pool and lawn down hand-chiseled stone steps or a garden path.  It is reminiscent of English countryside homes or New England.  Warm oak hardwood floors and French-styled doors and windows are found throughout. 

Most notable are the walls brushed with Sydney Harbour Company’s Original Lime Wash, which gives them a soft weathered patina, much like in Old World buildings found in the Mediterranean.  The natural pigments and hand application give the walls a unique quality which cannot be duplicated.  White wainscoting, crown molding and coving provide a polished finish. 

From the living room, there are beautiful views of lawn, gardens and the tennis court.  The cozy interior has a classical fireplace, built in book and display shelves and adjoins an incredible spacious covered porch, decked with Brazilian hardwood, that provides room for dining, relaxation and even napping.  Just steps away is a kitchen with a Wolf range, glass front Subzero refrigerator, cabinets with glass fronts and lighting, and hand forged period hardware from Bouvet of France.

The bedroom looks out on to the porch, gardens and tennis court and has a walk in closet with conveniently located stack washer and dryer and en suite bathroom with vanity, dressing area and soaking tub as well as a shower with glass surround.

Studio Cottage

For family or guests, this studio with its covered shady porch is a romantic hideaway.  A privacy hedge and its own garden, along with the expanse of lawn, creates an oasis usually found in resorts.  Maple floors with a honey toned patina and subtle pastel lime washed walls are found throughout.  A spacious and light dressing area and bathroom complete the cottage.  Steps away is the tennis court.  Laundry and a two-car garage are located just outside.

Tennis Cottage

In a park-like setting, this studio cottage is perfect for the tennis buff or those who love to entertain.  Shaded by ancient oaks, the lawn leads up to a large entertainment patio lined with Montana Ledger stone, adjacent to the tennis court.  The outdoor kitchen is fully equipped to handle a crowd and includes microwave oven, dish washer, beverage refrigerator and a spacious counter top for creating appetizers or preparing for a BBQ.  Ample storage is provided for tennis gear and an outdoor shower is nearby to refresh guests.

The studio interior has skylights that provide a bright and airy feel.  A sitting area with bookshelf, roomy closet and en suite bathroom with shower makes it the perfect getaway guest room.
