The home was designed around a central courtyard with glass and iron doors that lead to each room of the house.  The West wing is used as the sleeping quarters and the East wing an entertainers dream, with almost 2,000 square feet of kitchen, dining and lounge areas!  Flavors of the Provence style kitchen flow seamlessly into the sun filled lounge area, dining room and great room.  

The West wing includes a stunning room with a fireplace that can be used as an office, library or family room.  Beyond are the two bedroom wings connected by private dressing rooms with Poliform closets, spa inspired baths with soaking tubs and steam showers, and a coffee bar.  This private wing was purposefully designed as a juxtaposition between femininity and masculinity.  There is a potential third bedroom and bathroom that is currently used as a craft room/laundry room with custom linen and towel storage by Tom Ryder. 

In a park-like setting at the south end of the property is a charming and delightful 1 bedroom guest cottage with kitchen and bathroom as well as recreational horse facilities and paddocks. 

After walking, riding and enjoying the surrounding friendly atmosphere of this gated, well established and convenient neighborhood, you are assured a restful evening under the stars.

Nana Wall Doors frame the entry to this urban hacienda which, when folded open, create a large pass through to a central courtyard with several iron and glass double doors that open to each room of the house.

Kitchen, Dining Room & Great Room

The east end of the home is considered the “Living area” which is bright, open and sun filled. 

The French inspired kitchen is anchored by an 11 foot island topped with Caeserstone counters and contains Viking wine and beverage centers.  There are 2 custom nooks designed to house a 1950’s restored O’Keefe and Merritt Town and Country stove and the other, a very large farmhouse sink with double faucets.

There is a private dish wash area with double Fisher Paykel dishwashers and a  Kallista Farmhouse sink plus a wonderful Miele coffee center that will do everything but ‘stir’ the coffee.  This area is separated from the kitchen by a fabulous custom designed “garden moucher” cabinet for food storage.

The owner designed the hi-tech entertainment areas so one can watch a large flat screen TV from either the dining / sitting area or from the kitchen.  This area was also set up so that it is accessed off the central courtyard, away from the bedroom wings.  With these doors, people can access the ‘public’ area without disturbing the privacy of ‘private’ rooms. 

Private West Wing:

The 1^st master bedroom suite, currently used as a TV room, was designed with a more feminine touch and features a fireplace, a separate dressing room with Poliform closets, and a bathroom with Lefroy and Brooks polished nickel hardware, steam shower, marble floors and counter tops, and Barbara Berry Glamour Collection fixtures and hardware.

The 2^nd master suite features a wonderful coffee station & Martini bar as well as Poliform closets and a luxurious bathroom with custom stone and Caeserstone counters, Michael Smith collection fixtures, and a deep Onzen Japanese soaking tub and connecting shower.

A potential 3rd bedroom / den / bonus room has custom linen and towel storage by Tom Ryder.  This room would make a wonderful gym area, den, but was designed as a large laundry and linen area to house the linen and towel storage for the home.   The washer dryer is housed off this room with an adjoining bathroom.  The laundry along with the kitchen features beautiful Beveled Brick Tile from the Ann Sacks collection, and all polished nickel fixtures.
